This is part 2 of our 3-part series documenting our drive from Waterloo, Ontario to our home base in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. In Northern Ontario, near Thunder Bay, we stopped for a day at the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. Jay takes you on this hike to see Ontario’s tallest vertical cliffs, and then unexpectedly finds a pair of chipmunks trying to steal his lunch!

Welcome to part 2 of our journey back to our homebase. Last week’s video mentioned a separate video about a big hike Jay did on day three of our journey, which is where this week’s video takes you. Join Jay as he shows you to the top of the Sleeping Giant.

This is a hike we would definitely recommend doing in the Fall. We had no issues with mosquitoes (which we had heard can be a huge problem in the summer months), the trail was not crowded, and it was easy to find a parking spot (especially with our big setup).

Next week we’ll bring you the final leg of the journey - up and over the Rocky Mountains. Stay tuned to see what kind of road conditions we find.
