The end of our second season is here and looking back there are 6 things we didn’t expect during our
first year with an RV living the RV life.
This is the third and last episode of our drive home east to west with our travel trailer from Ontario to
BC. In this video we show you the road conditions across the prairies and through the mountains that we experienced
in mid-October and share some valuable tips for getting through.
Jay takes you on this hike to see Ontario’s tallest vertical cliffs in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park in
Ontario, Canada.
We start the long drive back from Ontario to British Columbia, but this time we are expediting it into
six days in an effort to avoid winter driving conditions through the Rocky Mountains.
We explore the shops and gardens of the town of Stratford Ontario. We’ll show you 3 chocolatiers and the
main historic downtown area. If you would like to plan a visit to Stratford, we highly recommend visiting when you
can attend the Stratford Festival.
In this episode: We take you to the largest year-round market in Canada - the St. Jacobs Market in
Waterloo Ontario. There are 400 vendors at this indoor/outdoor market selling everything from clothing to fresh
produce. You never know what you will find at this amazing place and is a favorite of ours.
In this episode: We show you around Green Acre RV park in Waterloo, ON where we stayed for an entire
month. See the grounds, what there is to do, and if Jay catches a frog from the pond.
The long drive from BC to Ontario comes to an end as we arrive in Kitchener/Waterloo to spend an entire
month with family for Thanksgiving. While setting up, Jay talks about the length of water hose and electrical line
and he fixes the stove.
We get our furnace repaired in Sault Ste Marie, we stop to see some big money monuments in Echo Bay and
Sudbury, and we experience our first overnight camp at a Walmart. On top of all that, we finally rid our trailer of
the mice!
After finding mice in the trailer at our last stop (see Rainbow Falls episode), we get back on the road
on our way to Scenic High Falls in Wawa, Ontario for the night. On our way we stop at Pebble Beach in Marathon,
Ontario and make an interesting discovery in the little town of White River.
